About me

I have the honor of holding various titles: I am a pastor's wife, a mother, a friend, a sister, and most recently, a Nana. My husband and I proudly call Central Iowa our home, where we live with two of our children who are still at home. Our oldest daughter lives close by and our oldest son and his sweet little family live in Missouri. My husband and I have been married for just shy of 25 years. Together, we have been involved in ministry for over 20 years. We currently pastor a small non-denominational church in our hometown.

In 2021, shortly after celebrating my forty-first birthday, I decided it was time to return to college and complete my bachelor’s degree. I recognized that my true passion lay in pursuing a degree in Communications and Marketing. I was able to do my classes with Liberty University’s online program. I was fortunate enough to travel to Virginia to walk across the stage for my graduation in May 2024, which was one of the most memorable moments of my life!

Professionally, I enjoy working on projects such as social media marketing, designing PowerPoint presentations, creating brochures and other marketing resources, designing websites and helping business owners and organizations get a marketing strategy in place.

During an internship with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Global headquarters in Kansas City, I had the chance to delve into audience personas and marketing research, which was an awesome experience! This is another area of marketing I love!

I also enjoy writing. I have had the privilege of having several articles published in a Christian magazine.

If I were to summarize myself in a few sentences, it would go like this:

I’m a creative and task-oriented person who values building meaningful relationships, both personally and professionally. My faith and my family are the two most important things in my life! I love taking the load off of others shoulders. I thrive in collaborative environments but also work well independently, ensuring effective communication with those around me. Finally, technology doesn’t scare me, I always welcome a good challenge!
